Beautiful as always Matt. This hit home for me as my own daughter just turned 17 this past week and I am struggling a bit to watch her grow up and become a woman. I still recall the little girl who wanted me to read books to her every night and used to sit on my lap and snuggle. Maybe someday she will understand my worries and the depth of my love.

The day came with sadness, but has passed with real joy too: she’s so happy to be doing what she’s doing. It does feel like we’ve done the first little chapter of life as a grown-up well to have got to here!
